    4R Nutrient Management (Soil Fertility management - Right Rate, Right Source, Right Time, Right Place

    Cover Crops - Cover crops have many benefits.  

            Erosion control, soil health, additional nutrients. Farmers and gardeners can all make a difference.

    Water Control Structures - control the amount of water that leaves your farm.  

            Adjust the field drainage throughout the growing season depending upon the needs of the crop.

The District has receive several grants for landowners/farmers to apply cover crops, VRT and water control structures.  Contact the office for details!
