Our Mission
To assist, promote
and educate our community in soil and water conservation.
The Women in Conservation Series is
once again open for reservations. Sessions occur on the third Wednesday of
the month from April - September. Seating is limited so act fast!!! Please
call the SWCD office for details.
The September Clay Leave imprinting session has been
filled!!!
2013 Tree Sale orders are now being taken. Order
forms can be accessed online or at the Ottawa SWCD office. Deadline for
orders is April
5th.
What
can you do to “Keep Lake Erie Clean”?
If you are a farmer or landowner the Ottawa Soil and Water Conservation
District and Natural Resources Conservation Service will pay you to establish
20’ FILTER STRIPS along your land next to ditches.

program.
